Nice to meet you
As someone who deeply values family, I understand that legacy isn't just about biological children—it's about the people who matter most to you. Whether that's nephews, nieces, siblings, friends, or causes you care about, estate planning is something you do for the people and purposes you love most.
My own experience with my nephews and niece has shown me how important it is to think beyond traditional family structures when planning your legacy. You won't be the one to benefit from the plan we design together—the people who will benefit are the ones you've chosen to care for, who will be dealing with things after you're gone.
This perspective shapes everything we do. Every document we prepare, every strategy we recommend, and every conversation we have is guided by one question: "How will this serve the people and causes you care about most when they need it most?"
A Commitment Born from Service
My path to estate planning law began with two decades of federal service focused on international trade and national security policy. I dedicated my career to developing and implementing policies that strengthened America's economic position globally while protecting our national interests. During my time as a legislative fellow in the House of Representatives, I gained valuable experience in complex legislation and witnessed firsthand how thoughtful planning, careful attention to detail, and strategic thinking can create lasting positive change.
My extensive work in international trade taught me that the most effective solutions come from understanding intricate systems, anticipating challenges, and building frameworks that protect what matters most. Whether analyzing trade agreements or developing security policies, success required the same skills that make for excellent estate planning: careful analysis, strategic thinking, and meticulous attention to detail.
My experiences have taught me that true service means empowering others to build secure futures. When I transitioned to legal practice, I realized that estate planning offers the same opportunity—helping individuals and families create comprehensive plans that protect their loved ones and reflect their deepest values, using the same strategic thinking and attention to detail that shaped my years in federal service.
